Education System in Russia

General education in Russia comprises three stages: primary education, which lasts for four years; basic general education lasting for five years and secondary education which lasts for two to three years. General education normally, consists of 34 weeks of study per year and 27 to 36 hours of study per week.

Salary Wages in Russia

In the recent update on wages in Russia, as per official statistics, states that in July 2018 the average monthly salary were 42,413 Rubles, which is around USD 670. This is huge difference to their 2016 report when the average monthly wage was around USD 437. In just 2.5 years Russian salaries had increased by nearly 50%.

Education Level in Russia

A large percentage of the Russian population has traditionally attained at least an upper secondary education. The figures remained high in 2011: 94% of 25-64 year-olds hold at least an upper secondary qualification. By contrast, the OECD average is 75%, while the average for G20 countries is 60%
